CAVS

I grew up in Richfield -- I didn't live there very long -- from '90 - '94 -- but one of my fondest memories as a kid is going to see the Cavs play the Suns at The Colliseum for my sixth birthday, a day on which I got glasses for the first time. I was mad because Charles Barkley was suspended for fighting but at least I could actually see Danny Ferry waving to me before the game.

I was also there when Mark Price hit a four-point play against the Heat. I grew around Craig EEEEEEhlo and Larry Nance. I ate Mark Price candy bars.

I've been transplanted to the Columbus area where I go to school and where for most people, it's all Buckeyes, all the time. That didn't stop the people I was watching game 5 with at a sports bar from catching LeBron fever during game 5.

It would mean so much to me and so many people if the Cavs won tonight. It's interesting how the bar has been raised each year... I remember how excited people were when the Cavs "won" the draft lottery to get #23 in the first place. Now we're looking at making the Finals. Next year...

Here's to hope...
